Expertise at Every Step

At Nashville Neuro Psychiatric Associates (NNPA), we provide expert, compassionate psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults. Our approach integrates the latest in medical innovations with time-honored traditions of patient-centered care, set in a facility designed to feel like a sanctuary for healing.

Dr. Craig Clark

Dr. Craig Clark is a seasoned psychiatrist with over thirty-five years of clinical experience. His journey began at West Virginia University and continued at Marshall University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Clark’s subsequent training at Vanderbilt, where he served as The Chief Fellow in Child Psychiatry, a teaching and academic appointment, introduced him to transformative mentors and ignited a lifelong passion for neuropsychiatry, teaching, and continuous learning. His comprehensive approach is not just about alleviating symptoms but fostering overall well-being and resilience. Dr. Clark sees his role as assisting his patients, young and old, in actualizing their fullest potential as human beings.

Amy Powell Clark

As co-founder and Chief Operating Officer, Amy complements her leadership expertise with a deep and nuanced understanding of human development across the lifespan. Although she has retired from clinical practice, she continues to draw upon more than 25 years of clinical experience to guide the organization and support The Team through regular supervisory sessions.

Amy began her career at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she developed valuable insights into early childhood development and autism spectrum disorders. Throughout her clinical career, she specialized in trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders, applying an attachment-focused lens and recognizing the essential role relationships play in healing. Today, she brings this experience to her work as Chief Operating Officer, helping shape the organization’s operations, clinical direction, and commitment to providing meaningful, lasting support.
